TO: All Companions
In the past couple of days, an email was received by all Companions that, for all intents and purposes, seemed to be sent by our Chief of Staff, Colonel Farrell. This email was sent by PCI, and, while seeming like a scam, we at the MOWW Headquarters can safely say that this is totally LEGIT and ABOVE BOARD! In the coming days, I will be posting a page with the FAQs about the project, but in the meantime, please refer to the below statement:
“PCI, on behalf of MOWW, is conducting an Oral History Project with (2) main purposes: (1) To collect stories from the Companions for use in a book published exclusively for MOWW, similar to ones that have been published in the past; and (2) to verify and correct all contact information that has previously been provided to MOWW, maintained by the MOWW Membership Director and the individual Chapter Adjutants. Please note that the project was approved by MOWW leadership and is real. Please do your part to verify your details and provide stories for the book. Once done, you may purchase the book and/or other merchandise with the MOWW logo on it that was created by PCI for this project.”
